Thanks guys. I'm really excited to breed her to my snow leopard. That's why I got her. I also have a group of 2 females and 1 male pearls I got from a crazy "European" source lol. That group is about 1 and half years old.
These smaller spots within the larger spots take a few years to develop but once they do it transforms the look of the fish completely, some never develop them, if the parents have them then so do the pups.
Some cracking Pearls in Calgary now by the looks of it.
To answer your recent question. I have female Pearls baring young as small as 14" disc, males will breed even smaller.
Look forward to seeing a Pearl x Xingu in the not too distant future.
