this is not a flowerhorn guys basic classification of a pure bred flowerhorn is the red eye. It does not matter if it is a low grade or a triple a class flowerhorns that are pure bred will have the red eyes. for me this is a cross breed from two other fish. both parents are not from the flowerhorn genes.

I just aquired a juvinile FH at my LFS and have NO idea what kind it may be.It looks like these two pictures but it's still a juvinile so no Nuchal Hump,it just shares the same colors/spots.Any help will be so very appreciated,as i like to correctly identify my species.I picked him up becacuse iv'e been dying to get one,but i don't wanna order online for my first one.He's obviously low grade seeing as i paid 7.99 for him,this was antoher reason i scooped him up.One of my questions is,even if it's lowest grade,will it still get it's hump,at least a little bit? Oh,and hes has Reverse-degrading stripes,like a Red Terror.

there's no low grade FH but an A grade on it. Your question is even he/she is an A grade does he/she will have big nuchal hump? Probably you can make his/her nuchal hump big, in that photos seems like he/she will have it. As you said it is under the stage of juvenile stage isn't it?. Well there's a visible signs of having nuchal humps. If you want your FH to have a big nuchal hump then help him/her to have. happy breeding!!!
