New filter, any good?

i dunnoz if it that brand called sunsun?? if it is, i heard it leak or something.. i heard some news, i dunnoz if it true. i dont buy any of the no brand name filter, dont trust it hahha.. that why i went with FX5. JEBO is pretty good. you should look into that.. =), if you were closer to me, i would bring you to my friend place.. i dink the largerst filter GPH is like the same as the XP3 or xp4.. he would give it to me less than 100 each =)

I want an xp4 for 100$

never heard of them... however if you do get it.. you MUST paint it so that it looks more like a bunny..

There is another thread about a filter that looks exactly like this sold on ebay. I suspect its the same. The conclusion was mixed some people said they sucked, some said they worked but that they got what they paid for.

The fx5 will most deffanitly not be the sole filter. But im undicided what else to get. I have never used a stump/wetdry and am slightly perplexed by how they work dispite looking though all the stickys on them. I would like to try a stump. but I need to do some research first.

Do so.The different canister filters do well and the FX-5 has its following but the wet dry sump system is tops for keeping up water quality.Depending on what you eventually have in your 265,I'm not sure if an fx-5 could handle the load on its own but it or even a cheaper canister would go well with the wet/dry.

Thats what im planing on doing. The fx5 a wetdry another another canister and ac110 and i think im good. Now i just need to learn a little more about wet drys and find a cheep one for sale.

i have one, works great. Id say two of these beats the fx5. Great price! mine still works, 4 months old! lol but yea they are good, i filled it up with bio and it took care of my 210 for 2 months until i finally decided on a wet dry.
