Oh, by the way, the jury is out right now for polyester fiber-fill and quilt batting due to the fire retardant. I have a test going and the results will be posted in about a week. For what it is worth, I have been using quilt batting with no obvious problems. I have a feeling that todays fire retardant is insoluble in water.
How do you determine if it does not have fire retardent (from the labeling)? I have already sampled all of the packages that I have and they all have fire retardent.
