Try live bloodworm, if he takes that mix live and dead, then feed dead from a turkey baster, after that they tend to take anything from the baster...then they tend to take stuff from your hand not the baster, after that the recognise anything in your hand as food....and so on....

nice eel, mines only about 7 inches had almost a year but definatley loooking forward to "Mr.nibbles" getting larger
