Delhezi have a flatter head with more equal length jaws, while senegalus have a rounder head where the upper jaw is more protuberant. Also, delhezi have larger, and typically more, dorsal finlets. Delhezi typically have 10-13 dorsal finlets versus 8-11 for senegalus. The dorsal spines start closer to the head on delhezi than on senegalus or any other species for that matter.marvinbaker;1270963; said:not sure how you'd tell if it's a del or senegal if it's an albino? not til it's at least 6" or so
their dorsal finlets count would be different (and along the same line, where the 1st finlet starts). the head shape is different as well.marvinbaker;1270963; said:not sure how you'd tell if it's a del or senegal if it's an albino? not til it's at least 6" or so

Looks sen. Either way, nice pickup.
