NEW FISH AND EGGS!!! WOOT LOOK

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nice! i luv the bb grouper

Looks good, but does anyone else find it funny that if he'd posted pics of an arapaima and a bunch of pacu MFKers would be jumping down his throat becuase he has them in a 210...

Yet with two potentially 7 foot, 40lb eels and a grouper that can weigh over 800 pounds, no one says anything...

Well maybe because its the fact that it hasnt gotten to that point? Once again , the tessalta is gone! I miss her though :(. A friend really wanted her so i sold it , and as for the bumblebee... you saying ill just drop it off on somone else is kinda harsh. He was in a terrible state and bunched up in a tiny tank so i took him and gave him a home. I dont know what your problem is man , do you know my future plans for tanks? Do you know how many tanks i have? The fact that you dont even care to ask these questions, just try to call me out is pathetic. I would love to keep the grouper for his whole life , and they actually grow to 1,200 pounds , but i have lined up a good home if i cant. Most of them in captive tanks are around the 6 foot 500 pounds , but ill be sure to expect the worse. So if you where so concerned why dont you ask me about my plans for the future ?

Try coming off as concerned not jelous....

And to let you know i support people with fish that are GOING to be to big for their tank... It makes them get more into the hobby and they can literally grow with their fish. Just because a fish will over grow a tank , doesnt mean it needs a bigger tank at the moment. But somtimes yes this is abused , by lazy people who dont care enough for their animals and dont give them the best they can. Thats why i think questions to the owner and getting backround information is the best way to figure out if they can care for a fish... ive done my research on all my fish.

I hope you dont take me as arogant or a little brat in anyway man, but you called me out in that other thread and i had legitimant points , all i wanted to know was how he was going to take care of those fish in the future , im all up for answering questions, so no i wasnt calling the kettle black. I was happy for that guy but was making sure he COULD do what he was saying he planned to do. I see your posts and think they are very good information and it kinda sucks your bashing on me..

Well, you felt the need to invade another thread and call it's OP a retard for having a potentially overstocked tank...while yours is far, far worse. I'm all for people keeping fish and trading them in, I think this "You own a fish for life" attitude is unrealistic.

Okay, fair enough! I will ask the questions...please tell me about how many tanks you have and where you plan to put your 6 foot, 500 pound fish....

EDIT: If your Tesselata is gone, why is it still in both your sig and the pics you just posted?

okay , i didnt call that kid retarded lol , i made a check list of things that would be difficult opsticals to hurdle if he had any of those problems , lol.... it was a total joke and i dont know why people took it so bad , i wasnt being mean just playful...

Anyways , my future plans are to keep upgrading as soon as possible. In just 7 months of having my BB grouper he has changed the way i look at keeping fish. He started in a 55 gallon DAS ( remember he was smaller) and i still thought that was to small , ditched my 130 FW and made it a sw just for him. He kept growing my obession with morays grew and decided the grouper needs another tank... so i bought him a 180 gallon , and got some buddies along the way. after 2 short months i hated the demensions on the 180 and decided he was going to outgrow it , so i bought a 200 or 210 , idk its measurements have been modified so its somwhere around there.... This is just some backround on my bumblebee grouper and all that we have gone through together. Sorry i am a little protective of him because hes led me through this amazing hobby and ive met some really cool people.

As far as the future goes , i have been drawing up a plywood build that i plan to start in januaray. I plan for it to be a 1,000 gallon or 800 gallon tank.i would like to put it in my wall , and since i suck at working with wood im having assiantance from my friend. I try really hard to work with wood but i just dont have it lol. Or i was thinking of doing a big acrylic tank and just glueing it together myself. I can build all the filtration for it and everything... money really isnt an issue , but i would like to save as much as possible and im utterly fascinated with DIY. So yes by the next 2 months i should have an 800 - 1000 gallon tank... Thats really my plan , i know things do not go as planned but with my history and upgrading so quick , i just keep doing it faster and faster. Then i plan on keep upgrading as i see fit for my grouper , i bought this last tank not even really 3 months ago and already has eyes on a new tank.... lol

So basically yes , with this fish i do hope to keep him till he croaks in my tank one day. Ill be doing everything i can for him, hes really special to me. I know thats not realistic but it seems everything that everyone has said is unrealistic and wont happen has happened for me in this hobby... no one believes me when i tell them my baby triggers eat pacu guts out of my eels teeth , they dont believe my stock , and say that the compatibility of having the most AGGRESSIVE triggers in one tank is simply impossible. That having fish that a green moray can swallow is not going to happen, ive herd and it all. But everything is turning really good for me and i hope not to jynx myself. But i hope to just keep getting more monster tanks. Thats just a little on my fish adventure , and the state of mind it has put me in lol. More pics? :)

That I believe, my 12" Niger used to grab food out of the 4' Blacktip reef's mouths...they have no fear.
