New fish at your local Petsmart!!!!!

when it comes to fish there name is a oxymoron. I have not been one in years.

Our petsmart has the same old disease riddled fish as always, mostly goldfish and koi with the typical petsore fish like neon tetras, black skirts, oscars and cichlids. Only time ill go to petsmart is to have my dogs nails trimmed and grinded.

Lol can't say I blame ya.The last fish the one in my area had that was worth getting a little excited about were the ctenopoma acutirastre and that was quite a while ago.

The 3 within 20-30 miles from me never carry firemouths or green terrors. Cichlids in general really. Just convicts, oscars, the rare dempsey, and assorted afrcians.

What is the rare jack dempsey????

both of my local Petsmart also have the Electric Blue Acara and One of them got Red zebras again, Socolofi cichlid, and assorted Moorii Cichlid. I wonder if any Petsmart stores still carry the flowerhorn, Electric blue jack dempsey, salvini cichlid, and green terrors.

I have a Jack Dempsey I bought from petsmart that turns black and then to regular Jack Dempsey color. I've herd that there are blue gene jack dempsey. Could it be one????

Not a Petsmart fan around here --Mine carries a wide variety of fancy guppies, and mollies if that's your thing.

sounds like a female JD to me. they go dark and then lighten up when going through the spawning cycle.
