New fish - Chaca bankanensis

nice find i've never been to that store before but i saw one not too long ago in GR. I have pondered keeping them before but i'm afraid that something would pick on it. Sometime i'll give them a shot, they are a fascinating catfish but horribly inactive. I'd like todo it in a biotope tank with leaves and sticks and have a "can you find the fish" tank to tease people

Should heal up ok, hope he feeds right off the bat, most will take eart worms readily.

Keep chaca alone, I had a chaca in a comunity tank with fish it's own size. One took a bite out of him. he released a toxin that killed over $300 worth of fish, lost some nice fancy plecos that I had a long time.
Thats put be off a nice looking fish. I bought an Electric catfish thinking it it could fend my Birchir off, it wiggled into my out let pipe got pulled 2meters and ended up half peeled and over twice as long ! dead of course. I'm having to look at what I can grow on in another tank now.
Yeah he has his own tank, I only keep it with feeders. I read they have some toxin in them that lowers ph and, that if other fish eat their slime coat they will die. But thanks for the heads up.
