new fish from cooler

Rmac those kamfas will grow fast as hell, unsure about the silks but mine are hanging out and getting along with my kamfas. I had 1 of those kamfa from Julie last time I ordered but the moron jumped out of the 1" gap between my filter and my lid but he grew like 1" in the 2 weeks I had him. When the silks came out they weren't very stable, but that was about 8 months ago. I'm not worried about losing a $20 fish but if I would have paid $200 when they first came out and lost one I would have been pissed. I can'y say if they're fertile or not, only time will tell but I'd bet it will be tough to find a fertile male. Some of those red dragons are really amazing. I'm sure you saw Joe and Rob both had some little monsters with heads too. I'm hoping mine turns out the best though since he's so small and is absolute monster LOL :raspberry
 
im actually rearranging my budget just so i can get some silks now. yours are so cute they make me jealous.

What do you mean without a gb? Julie can ship around 20 fry for $35. Being in Nevada you're a lot closer to Julie than I am so shipping might even be cheaper for you. The last order I did with her I was already using her to trans ship my fish from Thailand so the fry I ordered didn't add anything to my shipping. :headbang2

ha, thats pretty nice of her.
i guess i thought that most people did group buys from her. thats a decent amount cheaper than i expected, and now that im getting the space and money, i'll probably pick something up. thanks cam!

oh, and do you think the black spot towards the tail on the silks will eventually get covered with pearling or fade out?

Yeah it's very reasonable, I was surprised my first order too. I'm not too sure if the spot will stay or go. They're not 100% blue shine anyways they are kind of gray in spots on their body.

Maybe they will fade into it but I don't think so.

makes sense. this is also the first time ive ever seen them over dark substrate, so that might be it. either way theyre pretty pimp lookin.
