New fish from Rapps & Conkel

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Honestly, it looks like it's just the remaining scars from a previous case of hith or something.

Congrats on your soon to have Xmas present and your new fish, they all look fantastic. I'm sure you can't see the festae facial scarring too well except when the camera flash is on it.

And I think the RTM is female too.

Thank you sir!...Im excited to finally have Friedrichstahlii, the RTM & especially a Haitiensis!! I just hope they can co-exist in a bigger tank, although Im not 100% counting on it.

I look forward to your updates on that Haitien. Hopefully he'll put up with tankmates. Are you going to run both the 210g and the 125g tanks?

No, Ill be getting rid of the 125. My multiple tank days are over. I spend about 60 hrs a week working and am ready to have one pristine tank that I can lay on the couch and enjoy for a few hours several nights a week.

Im really really looking forward to it.

Im also hoping by having the Haitiensis as the smallest in the tank, that Ill at least get 6 months or so enjoyment out of him...watching him become what might end up as the sole proprietor of a huge living space all to himself.

He has a HUGE mountain to climb if you are hoping he will reign supreme over the other inhabitants.

ANY of those beasts will give a Black Nasty a run for its money

Alright good luck with everything. I was mentally prepared to have just a Dovii in my 265g tank but I lucked out and have a whole tank full of fish hahaha.

lol good point. That's a bunch of bruisers.

Hopefully you'll find the right combination of fish that you can keep together and sell off the rest.

haha...Im hoping he DOESNT, but man, hes the smallest at 3 inches and isnt scared of anyone. Im afraid one of the bigger ones will eat him soon if he doesnt back down when he needs to. Hes the most aggressive one in the tank.

Id love to be able to keep him with at least 4 or 5 others...especially my female festae, the RTM and a Friedrichstahlii. Thats my goal.

I, like you were, am prepared for him to be the sole inhabitant, need be. I do wish for the aforementioned to be able to co-exist though.
