i have a tank in my sons room 20gal with a juvie jack dempsey for 4 months. recently tried adding a friend for him.
tried a salvani first and within hours it started getting white eyes and white cottony growth. thought maybe i brought him home with something. tried a firemouth next and same thing happened. thought maybe another bad fish. tried another salvani from another store and same thing. the jd seems fine though. what should i do? treat the tank? if so with what? i do regular water changes and water quality seems good.
