New Fish Lates Niloticus-Nile Perch

GUYS! this is not the normal Lates niloticus, its a different variant, stays smaller, and has more yellow and marble pattern, not the regular ones you see in the stores. I have the regular ones, once they hit 30" or so, they slow down. They don't get to 5 feet in regular aquariums very fast, obviously.

these they call the royal niloticus in Japan, worth much more, cost much more too., about $200 usd per fish, and I don't even have one. so i'm not trying to sell anything, just saying

Wow, Thanks for the info! I'm hoping he keeps some color when larger. Maybe i'll get lucky.

i was thinking about that when i saw the color on those guys...
are these the ones that supposedly get less than 3 feet?

Dont' believe wes. remeber you want to grow him out and sell him to me b/c I 'missed out on getting my own. lol
