New Fish Room - 11.5 X 6.5

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This project is well thought out! Seems like you maximized every inch of that room and automated the crap work like water changes! Love it!

I had too.. Doing water changes on 15+ tanks (eventually) once per week with NO automation would have been a serious burn-out. Quick.

If you had any idea on how many projects I had to scrap in the past. I have perfected wrong!

Nice area that you live in.. Used to vacation there all the time as a kid. Destin actually. I am originally from B'ham, Al.

I was two seconds from scraping this double stand I just built when I couldn't get the ply surface flat but insulation saved me. I personally have Florida. I've only lived here for a year and plan to be moved to Columbus by the end of the year. :)

Acrylic tank?

Too many tourists? Hard to believe that place was little more than a fishing camp 20 years ago..

WC group of Cyno Lion, Lion's Cove..

One of three (fish on the left) is seriously being questioned as Lion, Lion's Cove or even Cynotilapia at all... Looks more like Metriaclima to me...

Atleast the male, is really coming into his own & really looking nice...

Great use of all the space you had, looks like none got wasted. I'm wondering though how long it'll be till someone hits their head on those angled braces.

WOW LOOKS GREAT! AND I LOVE THE WATER CHANGE SET-UP the extra work you put into this room will pay off. like the water changes for one. great work. cant wait to see some breeding going down

A few times.. Too proud to admit who the victim was..

The vinyl barb sticking down on on one of the drains can be nasty too.. It will be relocated!

I used it to change water this past weekend & it works really well. I still need to put a drain in the room though. Running a siphon line all the way out through the garage door is a pain...

As for the brreding, I think these Lion, Lions Cove will be first to the plate. Would really surprise me if I don't have one holding over the next 2-3 weeks...
