He's a little young but the dark patches behind the operculae lead me to agree with Phulltank57. It looks like an Ompok bimaculatus.

Yes, i think its a krypto catfish as well! I went to petco and they kept it with those glass/x-ray catfish. They sold it for $8, so good buy either way.

well I was looking on planetcatfish.com and it is more slender then any of the krypto catfish.

and a different mouth... it does look similar to a lot of the Belodontichthys dinema pics I have seen.... it is still a mystery

It's most certainly not a Belodontichthys dinema.

The most obvious reason being that they're super rare and expensive (never seen them for sale in the US).
