New Fish: Tiger Scat & O. niger

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
did you all know that scats, even though people believe they must have salt at some point in their life, like many of the "brackish" fish, which has not been proven, actually have landlocked populations, which never enter the sea or salt water? just like the madagascar scats, the ones in H20's tank, bet there isn't any salt in there, and there hasn't been in the past year and they look fabulous!

So not to turn this into a scat discussion but does this mean red scats/green scats can be FW?

Nice pickups pat.. that niger should grow pretty fast.

They are both excellent pickups youll enjoy them especially the niger. A hint for you they love a piece of tubing to hide in while they are young,.
Thanks for the hint Brucey.

Scats are very versitle fish, they can survive in damn near anything quite well. My silvers lived threw a 4 day winter power outage their tank litterally had chunks of ice floating in it when i got home. Im not *****ing that you should be keeping it in brackish....I was simply implying that Id gladly take the fish off your hands as Ive wanted one of those for some time now :)
