NEW FISH TODAY!

Gotta go with the others, as far as I know there's no such thing as a hybrid Aro. Besides it would be a lot of times impossible to determine parentage as most Aro's are either wild caught or farm raised in ponds. Aro's aren't bred in personal aquaria often if at all, so how could parentage be determined in a farm pond full of Aro's or if it was caught in the wild? The only way would be through genetics and that's impractical. RTC/TSN hybids are different in that they're purposely created, from my understanding as a food source to create a faster growing fish for food. They aren't just hobby based so genetic and breeding manipulation is more practical in that sense for them. I could be wrong, but this what I've understood and heard.

I got this aro with 6 others which i have sold but kept one for my self from a uncle who breeds them in a 420 alone. So YES this is a Hybrid arowana the male parent is the blue and the female is the silver. he is a member here Arowana breeder. If you could see the arowana in person you cam easily tell! the finage is light blue but the light does not do it justice

You just have to understand that many aren't gonna believe you because Aro's don't breed in 420's. Believe it or not to some of the members here 420 gallons is nothing and they've been unable to get them to breed. I think it's been said that so far no one has bred them in anything less than a pond. So that means your uncle would've made a break through twice in Aro. breeding at the same time created the very first hybrid and without the help of a lab which would almost undoubtedly be necessary as it is with RTC/Shovelnose hybrids and done it in the smallest body of water ever by anyone in the hobby. Plus he would be making a ridiculous amount of money since I guarantee everyone on here would love to have the first Aro. hybrid ever and would probably push the price upto Platinum Aro. status perhaps beyond. Seeing as I haven't seen them ever listed by anyone ever, where is he listing them? What's his asking price? Can we see the 2 Aro's that are parenting young? And can we see pics of the mouth full of eggs and fry? As well as the stripping process? It should be easy for you to produce as your family, and he even gave you one for free, so I imagine you'd have access to his tank and you obviously know how to post pics here so providing proof should be easy.
