they do pretty good in tropical aswell, if he starts having problems ill just move him to the pond

whoa looks awesome! my lfs has one at about the 8 inch mark for $28. almost pick it up... but i dont have room.

they are pretty tight.
wasn't really into them a while ago, now im starting to like them, hopefully my armatus leaves him alone

They are always available around here for $12-20 at around that size.

Sadly they lose that hi-fin and turn into a dull brown carp looking fish. They are a cold water fish too...

Cool fish none the less!

Its when they get big like 12" + I think.

Granted Ive never kept one, but awhile back I did a bit of research and once I found that out I decided to pass on them.
