just arrived from tucson.. and i've been on the cichlid lover alan bliven's house..from whom i got 5 aulonocranus dewindi and 3 neolamprologus caudopunctatus.
i just ''acclimatated'' them and introduce them into my 55g tank.. where the only inhabitants are 2 yellow calvus and 2 common plecos.
i am really surprise by the dewindi..
..because 4 been a featherfin cichlid, they are pretty thought to handdle 4hr ride home and to acclimatate very fast on the new tank... and are already eating
the other surprise where the caudopunk..who really don't look well...
they seem to acclimatated very slow..and looks like when the calvus change tanks...breathing heavily and just sitting in the bottom... I'm really worried...
if some one has keep'em or has experience on these species please share or pics or info...
when i get a cam i'll take pics.. but just have the need to show my joy...
