cool nice mix of cats the tank looks to bright for them however i'd say add some floating plants or something

Also you didn't put the bichir in with them did you or was it men't to be a feeder ?

Nice jags too ;)

I use a fluval 405 in conjunction with 2 powerheads with filter attachments and one is powering water thru a uv clarifier.I think it's better to have many small filters in different locations in a large tank than just one large filter. Seeing as the one large filter only has a intake in one area of the tank it doesn't filter evenly. As for food I feed my cats a varied diet as it seems to keep them healthier and gives them better coloration. I feed them live blackworms, bloodworms, brineshrimp, feeders along with sinking pellets, shrimp and beefheart. I just rotate what I feed them on a daily basis and the feeder are fancy goldfish(lionhead, orandas). They are less likely to be diseased as the pet shop's take better care of them than feeders. The only thing I'm workin on is how to make them more active in the day. I keep tryin different lights to no avail. They're only active for feedings hence the pictures I get are usually with worms or other foodstuff in the background or floating in the water.
