nice fish, don't mean to jack this thread but i picked 1 up yesterday and seemed to be breathing heavy and stould in 1 spot when i released him jw if i have anythin to worry about or if its normal because he is new to the tank.

No,i got mine about a week ago he did the same thing.He only ate a few times,but since i put a marbled pim in with him he is eating like a champ(maybe its the competition with the pim for food??)Anyways nice pick up on your RTC/TSN,another future "Monster Cat!!!"

thanks guys hes already becoming one of my favorite fish, he came up and ate out of my hand a couple minutes ago. I was hand feeding my peacock bass and oscar some feeder fish and frozen shrimp and to my surprise he came up and joined in with them, which i still can't believe cus i got him 4 hours ago lol
