finally after 5 months i decided to add some fish i purchased a six line wrasse and a yellow polka dot box fish and i hav pics:headbang2and i also got a trochus snail yesterday to clean the algae and its doing quite well

it is almost impossible to take a shot of the six line he is so active he wont stop moving and checking things out. he is extremely curious of everything like when a bubble builds up under a rock and floats up he has to follow it to the top its hilarious

this first pic is of them being acclimated in the acclimitisation box lol

the boxfish and the six line wrasse are getting along very well they dont really notice each other. i was testing to see if they would eat yet and they do which is great ive fed a mixture of brine and mysis shrimp and the boxfish is already picking at my algae infection which is really good

thanks for lookin

ill b taking photos all night so ill post more better ones i hope

Cute!

Wow I don't have a marine tank (='[[) but now I'm fantisizing about a 180 gallon marine oddball tank with filefish and boxfish and possibly a few other odditys like anglers, green wolf eel, orange toad fish and a pair of trinectes maculates...Your fish are really nice..I've never seen that species of boxfish Very nice =]]Hope they go well for you!

just an update both fish are getting along very well and actually sleep near each other. ive still been taking pictures although none of them are clear but these two are probably the best even though ther still quite bad lol. enjoy

the boxfish is easier because he does stop moving somtimes but is shy of the camera also the color wont turn out very well the pic doesnt do any justification

the wrasse is almost impossible because it doesnt stay still luckily i took this one before his next bite of algae he's basically like this guy :nilly:

today they ate one of my shrimp and both worked on killing it quite brutally but none the less very entertaining to watch. luckily they ate the good colored feeder shrimp and not my peppermint they even left some meat in front of the peppermints hide out to eat lol
