It a compressiceps cichlid. I was going to put it in the cichlid area but I dont know what area it would go in lol so in the photo lounge it goes. what do you guys think?

African cichlid,cool but be careful they are not the most assertive fish at feeding time and depending on what they are in with they may not get their share of the food.

thanks Hes gets lots of food so not to worry. Hes in my sisters 12 gallon nanocube. With some dainos mollies neons and corries.

eventually he will eat the danios and mollies
they are cool predators
you should see them hunt they are awesome
they kinda like hover over the fish and then bam the fish is inside its mouth
 
I think this cichlid is a Burton Mouthbrooder... correct me if I'm wrong.

hmm iv never heard them called that before im pretty sure is a compressiceps

If you are referring to this fish as a Haplochromis Burtoni (Burton Mouthbrooder). You are completely wrong.

The fish is still small but the fish looks like a Altolamprologus Compressicep Gold.
