heres a pic of my newest edition, he is now fully acclimated and less shy than he was (or atleast i think its a he) never had a red terror before so im pretty excited and i like him alot already, if ur good at sexing these fish tell me if its male or female if not just tell me what you think
note my male jag in the corner looking at him wit that mean ugly jag stare lmao

Looks like a she to me... the dark blotch on the dorsal in non-breeding dress plus the lack of or lessening degree of blue spots on the finage as it grows larger are good indicators.

That's cichlid behavior in general, both sexes will dig like crazy although females do so to prepare a nest
