I don't think I'm going to do live plants in this tank. Does anyone have any suggestions on substrate and background colors? Or has anyone owned this variant that could give me more info of any kind. Couldn't find much out there on the "pingke".
I'm curious to know what kind of Elongatus I'm raising, it's at best 2inches right now so too small to tell if it's a black mask or red throat or whatever. Time Will reveal. I know that it's an awesome little specimen, and very aware of its surroundings. Not really skittish either.
so I decided to try another planted tank. I am finding out with this guy that only sturdy plants will do. I put a lot of Vals in and he shredded them. Anyone know of anything similar that might hold up any better?
