Yes, I have since looked it up. It is one of those species that only come from Australia. It shows how Australia has been disconnected from the rest of the world universe for millions billions of years.

Nearly stepped on one whilst night fishing. Coming from someone who mucks around with venemous snakes, a bullrout is not something I'm gonna mess with.
