New fishes!

Got 3 new fishes! =] The guy i bought the JD from told me that she's a girl. Hopefully he's right!

Your JD looks like a dude! Females have more pearling on their lower gill plate. Yours clearly does not have much at all. Great looking fish though! But i'm pretty sure you have a young male dempsey.

Yeahh that's what I was thinking too, since my other male JD didn't seem to have much liking for him blah guess i gotta trade him back!

Ok I contacted the guy and he said that the JD was the female in his pair. He said she was the one that lays eggs LOL. Well i'll just keep him/her i guess and we'll find out in the future. If Boa is indeed a male, then atleast i'll have a beautiful male JD for the future! That picture doesn't do Boa justice. I'll take a nicer picture of her when i can

Either that seller is confused... lying... or that is the most male looking female JD I have EVER seen.

He's still a super nice looking fish though... good luck!
