I like the first and third pics. They're great captures. The fish pops off the screen. It's almost a 3-D effect, in that first photo.
That is an insignis (forgive spelling). The taen. species is never found in the hobby and if yours is already 9 inches it is bigger than the taen. species will get. I had a 14 inch insig and he looked exactly like yours. He outgrew my 65 and I sold him but wish I wouold have kept him. Very cool fish and your pics are stunning. Make sure you give yours some algae flakes or wafers at least twice a week.
Sorry to dig up an old thread. Just wanted to know do they eat all types of algae or only certain types?
