New Flower Pup

@ DB, they really don't get a whole lot bigger than your jag @ 30"+. Females can get larger I suppose.
But as long as I have a 4 foot wide pond/tank by then don't see and issue. But the largest females I have
found was 32" and that was with Darrins. Hell I have seen Leos and Henleis getting over 30".
Soon I hope to have a girl friend for him. I am thinking they will look good with my marble pair. Plus I have
always loved their patterning.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with having them or that you can't house them. :grinno:

I've always wanted a Flower or Tigger but am just not ready to make that commitment. I have enough trouble feeding my lil Marbles and none of them are over a foot and a half, and even at this size the amount of food a ray can eat is mind boggling.... Allready costs more to feed my rays then it costs to feed myself. My Jag's staying till she produces some pups then she'll be off to someone who really appreciates Jags.

Didn't take it that way, I am not at the numbers that you are. And actually after I
get a female for him, not getting anymore rays for the time being. I will stick at
5. Do plan on a pair of Leos or Henleis in the future though.:)
Food wise is also why I am moving pretty much all my other fish, that and wanting to
devote my fish time to the rays. I am keeping my Fahaka. The group of Eartheaters I
have to add to the tank in the future. But that is it.
 
Fancy Flower you got there Don! Only 6.5" huh? Gonna be a monster one day! Congrats!
 
Just think DB if you get a flower then you will have another ray that eats as much as your jag. My experience with flowers is once settled in they are very aggressive eaters and like food.

Sounds like my Ex-Girlfriend too! Once she settled in, she was an aggressive eater and like food also! That's why she's an "Ex"........ and she was a B#$%* above all else.

Any updated pics Don? She settle in yet and darkening up?
