New Flowerhorn. help with Id an also white flowerline?

Hello Mkers,

I just picked up this flowerhorn and I just wanted to share him with you. He is currently about 5inches and is housed with a platinum golden and 12 green tigerbarbs. I was told it is a fader type but i just want to be sure. The flowerline is almost white and he is sort of blotchy up front. So far so good, truthfully this one was my daughters pick I wanted a bluer type. Anyhow now he's part of the family.

Any comments would be much appreciated.

golden base/fader very nice fish and he has potential for sure. Keep us updated I'm sure he will improve a lot with age.

I have mix feelings about him. He's been getting lighter and the red is fading. . I wonder if he will end up pink.Definitely is intresting.

His mouth is a bright yellow now.

Would adding a small female help him fade faster? I already have a mirror set up and lights on a timer. He eats 4 times a day. I removed the little male platinum, but left the 5 emerald tigers to eat his crumbs.
