She is still a bit skittish when I walk over to the tank but once I sit down she swims right over to me. My wife works from home and sit's at the desk where the tank is so hopefully that will help her adjust to people being around.

Yea give her some time to warm up to you, mine was real skittish at first but with in two weeks I could pet him, these fish have alot of personality

That's good to know. I have been keeping discus for years and was ready for a change. I still love discus but want to do something a little different for a while. Always wanted a single large wetpet and now have the space for once so I figured why not.

My wife noticed a thin white poop from the new little one today. I have a lot of metro from keeping discus. Is it safe to use this for the same purposes? If so do I use it the same way? With the discus I always turn the heat up to 90degrees with 25% water changes daily and new treatments. Is it any different for Flowerhorns?

very bulky for it to be a female man.. great fader to me ! grow her out a bit, her kok will surely grow bigger .. and it would prbbly be a fntstic mix with a male red dragon :)

Yeah I thought that but checking her vent it looks like the shape that a female has. Maybe it is to young to truly tell but the other one she is with seems to already be showing his stuff like my other male.
