Bad News... They ate the eggs!!!
I knew it was tooo good to be true. I am goin to keep these 2 together. Usually it takes a few times for fish to get it right neways so i just need to be patient.

Not hard at all to ship and I'm in southeast michigan bro so its less than 200 miles. Put them in a bag, duct tape the bottom and send them on their way. Cjbarth has a good shipping thread/video I suggest you check it out. You don't need to add oxygen just get some bag buddies. If they've got more of those I will send you some breather bags and cash and you're in business. Let me know I'm interested. I'm down to meet you and trade some fish also let me know.

I will check that thread out I plan on getting more Red Texas from him in the near future all the ones I had died one way or another i.e suicide aggression ect. I am tring to downsize all the fish I have so I can focus on cool stuff. I am really getting into faders and anything with Vieja in it. I will update as soon as something cool happens in the fish room which from the looks of things it won't be that long.

Good news they spawned again on 6/1/11 and he's fertile!!! Bad news is I walked in on them doin the do and pissed him off pretty bad and 80% of the clutch went bad. 6/4/11 I removed the few that were wigglers to a 10 gallon with a seasoned sponge filter and heater. I separated the parents today due to aggression and so they can beef up a little from the stress of spawning.

Nice, as I was reading the thread I was more and more convinced that this fish indeed does not have any parrot. Possibly Thai Silk x something else I was thinking red devil. Or maybe he is just flat out a Jin Kang

I believe it has red devil and or midas in him just because of his body style compared to my creamsicle midas growouts. Before I paired him and the rosegueen together he was showing signs of fading and he had more kok. I plan on beefing him up to see how he devlops.

UpDate !!!!!
I named him ice when he wasn't faded because of the his pearling on the side but now he is 90% faded Im thinking along the lines of Pheonix. I just got rid of a few fish in my fish room so now I have a little more space to focus on this guy and a few others. He is divided w/ the female Purple Rose Queen he bred with previously for round 3 to see if I can get a full batch out of these 2 out of the last spawn I only have 6 fry that are around 1/4" -1/2" growing out in a 20 gal.

Looks like a faded thai kamalau. All flowerhorn have Midas in them.

I still have yet to find out what he is exactly he was labled a thai silk x parrot when I got him ( I am still in doubt about that one). he is still developing however so time will tell

If thats what he was labeled as I can see that being what he is, got most of its traits from the silk but picked up the fader gene from the parrot.

I dunno I just dont fully believe it unless i see pics, parents or a video. The guy I got it from has tons of fish he gets on trade. and they are all mixed up and none are labled.
