what does it mean when you flowerhorn has white poo?
mine has been having them since i bought it.
i will ring the aquarium where i bought it and ask if it was doin it there.
and he seems to be only eating blood worms.???
anybody have any ideas????????
thanks

I believe white poop means hexamita. You need to get him medicated foods. I believe Jungle has antiparasite foods. Or if you could just go to the fish section at Petco, you'll see a whole bunch of medication there.

oh now everything has took a turn for the worse. he is just sitting at the top of the tank
and now has developed a big lump on the side of his face. i think hes a gonner :(.
im just waiting for his medication to come in the post. i hpe it gets hear in time.

Clove oil or freezer bag him. Medicine wont do it at this point. You should have addressed this issue sooner, but sometimes you cant.
You can try hyposalinity and put a good dose of salt in and maybee keep him alive to be treated, But its your call.

Lets hope you don't have children. One gets the sniffles and you are already buying a casket and shovel....

I may have misspoken, I didn't read the second post.

use aquarium salt and a load of pimafix and it should help also make sure ammonia and nitrate is 0 and dont feed him crappy food lots of good food comes with antibiotics for your fish try that and raise temp to 84 degrees or so helps to kill bacteria and fungi

yeh i have now been treating him with fish zole and moved him to a tank of his own.
fish zole is metrodozol or something and his face and eye are nerly better. still not eating though so how could i get him to eat?
