New Flowerhorn

Just a update I forgot to put in the post above.

He's not sitting on the bottom anymore he's hiding behind some plants. He's eating which is always a good sign. He comes out from his hiding spot and swims around some but still shy.

Thanks. Yea I've noticed that lately they have been becoming more popular and stores been getting them in. I found him at Fishtown USA in Ramsey.

I thought this guy looked somewhat familiar saw him there a couple weeks ago. I usually get my fh in Queens since I know a couple shops out there. I've seen some nice ones at absolutely fish right over by my too tho.

Yea they have 2 nice ones at absolutely fish I was looking at getting one of them but I found this guy and went with him.

Nice, really nice colors now that's not a Parrot right its just a smaller Flowerhorn? I was thinking about getting what was labeled as a Red Dragon Flowehorn Parrot not sure what it really was but looked pretty nice. Looked like a Parrot but just like a Flowerhorn.

mine is a bonsai/super short body flowerhorn. the kirin parrots are what you're thinking of they tend to have more of a notch to their head like king kong parrots (see below)

Yea it looked very similar to that.

My FH adjusted to the tank and now is acting normal. I'll try to get some better pics tomorrow.
