New Flowerhorn

its in my upstairs hallway.. it can get pretty hot in the house with no AC.

He seems to be completely fine with temps around 84ish and even to 86ish.
I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

BUT
It sounds like thats not healthy for him so can u guys please show me a way to bring temp lower?

I just picked up this fan i got on eBay recently, and it seem to work GREAT!
My temp is now pretty stable between 82-84 degrees. I try to keep it as stable as possible, but with this weather constantly getting hot/cold, its pretty hard.

I'm leaving to Vegas for 4 days tomorrow, will he be ok?
I'm planning drop as much pellets as he can eat before I leave.

Don't do that. Feed him as normal your water will foul before he ever starves to death. Uneaten food dissolving in water and extra poop is worse than him not eating for a couple days.

Thank you so much for all the responses guys, much appreciated!!

I'm currently in Vegas now hoping my FH will be fine by the time I get back.

I feed him more then I usually would but before I left I make sure he ate everything.
