My setups use a sponge filter ran by a magnum 350 cannister packed with ehiem media...I run R/o and a 9 watt uv..On the other side of the tank I put in a caulinder filled with rock and have placed a huge bubbler in ther to disperse it more evenly throughout the water-Never really ever been concerened about water leverls-I have found no need to do so(feel free to clue me in if I am wrong).I dont use bottom cleaner of n e Kind-I do all maintence myself..As far as "pedation" I dont understand that word to be honest....But I have found no need to seeperate stages of fry-Some get eaten of course,But on average it's not enough to concern me,I always going to lose some no matter what I do...
