i learned... i saw him with it halfway down n i was just thinking damn thats alot of money down the drain n i started hitting the gulper with a net and budgin him around the tank to hopefully frighten him n spit up but no luck..

Once a gulper grab a fish by the head, there's no return :grinno: I'm sorry for your lost, but there are many story of gulper already, recently, I saw one 8" ate a 10"-11" golden Dorado.

yep.. thats how he had the armatus.. i guess u gotta live n learn some times.. an 8" gulper has probly 4 times a bigger mouth then a 5" one though so takin down that size fish shouldve been a snack :ROFL:

incredible ... i'm not into gulpers but is it also risky keeping two of them in one tank since one might eat the other?
