New gar enclosure

Michael, I call your 500gal with my 360gal and raise you a damn good aquascape.

Nice tank. Can I throw down my 3,500g heavily planted pond with driftwood and bog filter?

I actually saw 3 of the gar at the same time Saturday. First time that's happened in almost a month...

Wicked tank and fish bro!! Can't wait for it to clear up, so you can put your photography skills to use. You know how I feel about those Cuban's and that Afro-Aro totally drool worthy!! Love the fact the tank is so low too, as said before it'll be easier to maintain. Can't wait to see some aquascaping too!

need to make the gravel look a little more natural. got white to keep the cubans looking shiny...some guys came over to do the scape for me. damn good.

haha, i decided to go get some brownish big stones to replace the big white ones near the center of the tank/driftwood as i find the white is too distracting. it'll also act as a nice transition between the white substrate and the brown wood. will also sprinkle some smaller, brownish stones around to give it a more natural feel. can't thank the members who did this design for me enough though
