Quick update. They're eating mysis shrimp like bosses, but I got some free platies from the lfs and...well... They like them better haha.

Except sometimes their eyes are bigger than their stomachs

Well feeding frozen mysis wasn't working out as well as I wanted. One of them actively went after it, one kinda moved to where it could get some as it went by, and the other only ate it if it floated by while it was in the plants. So after seeing how well they all LOVED the platy, I went and got a dozen small crickets to see how they took to that. We have a new staple food until they're big enough to try pellets!! There is nothing more awesome than hand feeding (with tongs) a fish. Hell the baby albino senegal bichir loves them too. One of these days I'll try and get a picture/video, but it's kinda hard to do.
