New gar not eating

I have some suggestions that might help your gar eat:
1. I think separating him from tank mates would be the first step. (make him comfortable and feel dominant)
2. You should try feeding live feeders. (gars can't resist them)
3. Keep your lights dim. (not too bright and not too low)
