well

get 3 more geos and change your gravel to sand and your good

you need to do it soon though like within the next week or so

ok sounds good

What other fish do you have in there? Geos grow pretty well, my geo red heads at 1.5" have almost doubled in like 2 months or less. My dicro has grown from 3" to 6" in 5 months. So in a 55 will not be enough room for 3 or more. They will be way overstocked by summer with the geos alone and since you probably do have other fish in there, there will not be enough room. They NEED to be in a group. And they really should have sand. Do not buy anymore. Sell. Geos are different than other cichlids. Not to be rude but return it and deal with him yelling at you, you didn't research so it's your fault. Trust me just getting yelled isn't that bad And giving info to get more is bad info.

ok i will do something.

It looks like G. abalios.

Pay attention to the first three lateral bars. In G. abalios they are split in the middle, giving the appearance of a "double bar". G. brachybranchus should show the preopercular mark at this size, but it's hard to see on the pictures.

Change the substrate to sand...please.
