New Geophagus Setup

Nice start Ron, would have preferred to see larger numbers of the Geophagus species opposed to the multiple species in smaller numbers but hopefully they'll do well.

I always wondered what Rosaline Sharks were, we call them Redline Torpedo Barbs over here - a much cooler name ;)

Thaks Japes. I agree with you on the larger numbers of each species point. For some reason the geos are not readily availble in southern cal from the LFS. My next step is to either become a member of a local cichlid club and/or buy from members via this site. I originally wanted a this tank as tapajos orange head species set up. For now it's fine but as the fish grow I know I'm going to have some agression issues. I've already noticed the altifrons double in size in 3 months and they are becoming less intimidated by other larger fish.
