Nice set up and nice fish. The Oscar looks fantastic.

Thanks for the info guys, not had much luck with these Geos though.. Checked the tank on Monday morning and the largest one (with the damaged eye) was dead with no signs of injury. Woke up this morning and the second largest one had died, again with no injury. This one had never seemed right from the start, was always hiding and sitting on the bottom breathing heavily. Tested water, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 30 (was water change day, never gets higher than this and have since added floating plants to help keep them lower) and pH was 7.2. Smallest Geo has been fine from the start, swimming around and sitting through the sand happily, not sure if I want to spend the money on more now though..

Tenp was always between 26 and 27 celcius, usually about 26.5, is this too low for them? Just seems strange that the smallest one has been absolutely fine..

I agree 100 percent, while we will always try to walk the line, my vieja turned out to be far to much for anything I put with him in a 125.

Actually the surinam that survived is great with everyone 99% of the time, he will occasionally chase my convict or my silver dollars a bit but he doesn't have the mouth shape to cause any damage. The Vieja has since calmed down and the tank is peaceful, I think I've really lucked out with the personality of everyone.
