Well yesterday I bought a pair of Ghost Glass Catfish, they only had two, I know I need more though. So Im a little frustrated to hear that they dont live long at all! Why do these creatures die off in a few months? Is it because they are kept in to small of groups maybe? Also Iv heard they were suppose to hit 5-6 inches then I heard no way theyll only hit 3 inches. Anyone have anything that ever reached over 3 inches?

They should live for years with proper care. I've actually had a group of 6 that were 4"-5" and lived for a couple of years. They actually died prematurely due to the fact that I left for a few months on an internship and no one took care of them.

I've heard that most "glass" species of fish are very prone to ich. I don't know if that is a factor in their life span, but I have never heard of any fish who has a lifespan of only a few months.

I guess it takes some special sort of love haha. One is turing slightly white which I read was a way of showing stress. Another fish was chasing them so I moved them, they should be ok now although I think i need more of them just in case.
