I most definitely appreciate honesty, sarcasm, humor, etc. What I didn't appreciate was "Hi, you're an idiot. Here's some reading material to boost your IQ." Tact would have helped immensely. Those fish I had were from 18-22 years ago; as I said I have been out of the hobby for 18 years. Yes, I know NOW that they needed a bigger tank, but at 18-22 years old...what do you really know? Not much & with the absence of the internet back then, all I had access to was my LFS & what they told me. Just use a little tact next time. First impressions are priceless.

Welcome to MFK. Nice to have another Texan on this site. The people on this forum will not sugar coat anything, but they do mean well. Hope you decide to stay. This forum is great, and IMO, better than any other forum out there.
