the first movie i ever watched as a toddler was the 98 godzilla with mathew broderick. i absolutely love that movie but nothing cinematic will EVER beat a man in a lizard fat suite. for the first 2 years i was on this site all my avatars were godzilla posters.
Saturday Night Creature Features with Godzilla! Those were good times cuz Godzilla liked kids and you knew at least you were safe. We as Americans have ruined the old guy. Bring back Monster Island, Gamera and Mothra(and those hot mini-twins!) Couple of my favorite? Godzilla vs King Kong, ninja fighting! And, who could forget when Godzilla got his pilots license and learned to fly! How'd he know where he was going if he was going backwards? Meh, semantics....

i kind of like it, it's an improvement over the '98 one. but growing up watching godzilla, classic one can't be replaced

I hope that is not the look that the producers will go with...It reminds me too much of the one from the lame duck 1998 film.
