Just out of curiosity can you produce gold with even a little coloring? From a goldxBG

Golds generally do have a little bit of color. You will not get anymore color crossing a gold with a BG than crossing a gold with a gold.

Gold JD's have the same blue spots as standard JD's you just can't see them as well because of the lighter body color (reduced melanin). As I said, crossing your Gold with a BG will give you normal (wild type) looking fry. Gold's are not albinos - they just have reduced melanin. They will show lots of red and yellow and the same blue spots. They are near impossible to take pictures of to show their best colors. If you check out this thread - I posted a bunch of pictures showing the many color changes in these fish: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/f...4613-Sexing-Gold-Jack-Dempseys-Photo-included
