I think its a L81. I have a lil L18 an mine seems to have more spots but im no expert. Fish Pros in Cotati is that where North Bay Aquactics use to be? Ive been in there a couple of times. Not a lot of selction yet. Sweet fish either way

Alright Thanks, Ya Fish Pros is where the old North Bay Aquatics was, the owner really knows a lot about fish and i think the store has a lot of potential, every time I go in, the stock gets better and better

They seem like they are good people in there. I have them looking for some Amazon Puffers for me. I check in there every couple of weeks lookin for a oddball or something that catches my eye. I cant get my gold nugget to eat any thing but frozen blood worms. So good luck with yours. One good thing is that it has become very active during the day. Someone had posted a full grown L81 on here last week might want to compare yours. It under the thread "How big does a Gold Nugget get" I think or something like that

Ya they said they want to have more rare fish in the store, so I'm hopeful that they get some more in soon. Mine still hides in caves all day and I've yet to see him eat, although I'm pretty sure he has. Ya I saw that thread and i think the size difference kind of makes it hard to see if their the same one, especially when the only real difference between species is dot size

nice nugget :)

Thank You!

Just an Update:
He's doing very well and I think he's eating a ton. I got rid of my Gold Spot Pleco to make sure there was no competition and since then he hasn't been as shy
