It's good to hear about the speedy shipping from snookn. I also live in Nor Cal and have contemplated ordering fish from him but wasn't sure because of the distance. Good luck with the GN. I love the way they look, but have had terrible luck keeping them alive.

Heres a couple of pic of my new lil guy. Hes starting to come out of the cave he has taken to. He has not ate any Zucchini but he has ate some algae for the back of my tank so that is possitive. Sorry bout the photo only have an Iphone
gold nugget have one of the lowist fatlaity rate at my lfs
and my lfs has 20-40 different species of plecos at any given time

glad to see he's out a little more and eating a bit. not to be a downer but just to preach from experience and give you caution, my gold nugget seemed to be doing really well for about 3 weeks then out of the blue was dead when i woke up one morning. all the other fish in the tank were fine and the water tested to perfection. they are just weird like that from most other threads i have read about them. again, not trying to worry you but just make sure you keep a real close eye on him and keep trying with the zucchini and stuff. that one has awesome coloration.
I have kept many different plecos and stilll do but the ones I have most problems with is the gold nuggets and the mangos but the others do just fine
