Well it ate the other night a few pieces that i had to literally drop on his nose. Talk about a lazy ass fish. Fist cat I've had to do that with ever! Lol

Eventually you won't have to. They hunt lightening fast. My old 26" set a record ate 18 shrimps in 1 feeding i used to hand feeding it swim up to the top and take it from me

Awesome glad to hear that possibilites. That would be great if he landed up doing that makes feeding alot easier thats for sure ans ill know he is eating well.
New update...tonight i observed the goonch swim around and go after every piece of food he could find! He gorged himself. Super happy about that. Just lil over 3 weeks to settle in and eat with no hesitations!!!!
